A NEW ERA AT BALLET SPARTANBURG
This season marks a new era for Ballet Spartanburg, defined by artistic clarity, expanded voices, and a renewed commitment to both tradition and evolution.
Across the year, the Company moves through a deliberate artistic arc that begins with the return of cherished classical works, deepens through intimate creative exploration, and culminates in a season finale that celebrates neoclassical mastery and choreographic range.
From the reawakening of beloved story ballets to the emergence of new choreographic voices inside the studio, each production contributes to a larger narrative of transformation. Classical tradition is not presented as memory, but as living form. Contemporary voices are not separate from that tradition, but in dialogue with it.
This is a season shaped as a journey rather than a collection of performances. A season where legacy is not preserved in isolation, but actively expanded through creation.
