Ballet Spartanburg and Bond Street Wines present a new experience in food & wine downtown on Wall Street to introduce Ballet Spartanburg's 2019/2020 season. Chef Alex Vericek's selection of five courses of savory, textures and sophisticated tastes paired with French wines selected by Jeff House will combine food, wine and the essence of ballet. The evening supports Ballet Spartanburg's programming for education, performance and outreach.

The community dance event of the year! 10 incredible community organizations will dance on the stage to raise awareness and funds for their organization. Family fun and engaging many new community members of all ages and abilities, this event will have you clapping in your seats and dancing in the aisles. 10 teams to support. 10 reasons to attend. $65 VIP ticket (party and show) | $25 (general admission)

Parent observations are scheduled for the week of March 2nd. This is a wonderful opportunity for you to observe a mid-year class. All parents/caregivers/grandparents are invited to observe during this week.

Elizabeth O'Neill Verner Award

Ballet Spartanburg has received the 2018 Elizabeth O'Neill Verner Award. This award is given each year by the South Carolina Arts Commission to recognize exemplary artists and arts organizations for the State of South Carolina. “Each recipient of these Verner Awards is an outstanding ambassador for our state and contributes greatly not just to the arts community, but the overall quality of life.  As the Arts Commission nears completion of its 50th anniversary celebration, we are honored to recognize organizations and individuals who live out the service, commitment and passion that helped the arts here thrive throughout the last half century." S.C. Arts Commission Chairman Henry Horowitz.
