We are more than just ballet. We are your ballet organization committed to partnering with our community in an effort to offer excellence in education, performance, and outreach. Our business partners and season sponsors are critical to our ability to provide the highest quality dance programming to the Spartanburg community.
As a business partner, you support the performing professional arts, scholarships for students of color (Project D.A.N.C.E.), our outreach programming for children and adults, professional ballet productions, and over 25,000 students who engage in professional arts education.
As a 2022/2023 business advertiser, we value your business.
- We offer season tickets/flex tickets with premium levels of advertising
- We offer color pages as an option
- We announce at every performance how important YOU ARE AS A BUSINESS in our community and to encourage our audience to support our business partners
- Over 7,500 patrons will read our programs with your business ad
- We list your business name on our website as a community business partner
- We want to drive customers to your business to support you
- You will be involved in our Tutu Takeover in August. We will visit your business and take pictures of your employees wearing tutus and highlight you on our social media pages. You will be "tutu" cute!

Carlos Agudelo, 2023 SC Governor's Award for an Individual
Ballet Spartanburg's Artistic Director, Carlos Agudelo, was awarded the South Carolina Governor's Award from the South Carolina Arts Commission on May 23, 2023, at the Chapman Cultural Center. The award was presented by Mr. David Platt, Executive Director of the South Carolina Arts Commission. "We recognize the unparalleled energy, enthusiasm, devotion and love for dance that Carlos has gifted to our community out of his passion for all to experience the arts for the past 32 years. We are overjoyed that Carlos has been recognized by the South Carolina Arts Commission, " Teresa S. Berline, Executive Director. "The South Carolina Arts Commission is an extraordinary organization in our state which promotes and advocates opportunities in the arts which values equality, access, diversity and inclusion. Ballet Spartanburg is honored by the support of the South Carolina Arts Commission and the recognition of Carlos Agudelo."
