ALEHSSIA “COCO” REINHART is from Las Vegas, Nevada, where she received extensive private coaching in the Vaganova method from Yekaterina Yurtayeva while also training with Las Vegas Ballet Company.
She continued her training in the Next Generation Ballet Trainee Program under the direction of Philip Neal, studying with faculty including Natalia Bashkatova, Ivonne Lemus, Kelly King and Jennifer Howard.
Prior to joining Ballet Spartanburg, Coco performed with the second company of Ballet de Barcelona, gaining professional touring experience throughout Spain. Her repertoire includes works such as George Balanchine’s Who Cares?, Giselle, Paquita, Swan Lake and The Nutcracker.
Coco joins Ballet Spartanburg as an Apprentice for the 2026–2027 season.
Ballet Spartanburg's Artistic Director, Carlos Agudelo, was awarded the South Carolina Governor's Award from the South Carolina Arts Commission on May 23, 2023, at the Chapman Cultural Center. The award was presented by Mr. David Platt, Executive Director of the South Carolina Arts Commission. "We recognize the unparalleled energy, enthusiasm, devotion and love for dance that Carlos has gifted to our community out of his passion for all to experience the arts for the past 32 years. We are overjoyed that Carlos has been recognized by the South Carolina Arts Commission, " Teresa S. Berline, Executive Director.
