Wizard of Oz Session 1 

Dates: June 8-June 12

Hours: 10:00-12:00

Ages: 5-9

Bring a snack, wear leotard, tights, and ballet slippers

Description: “If we walk far enough,” says Dorothy, “we shall sometime come to someplace.” Come ready to dance down The Yellow Brick Road! Each day will consist of a ballet class and craft making including Glenda’s bubble wand, the Cowardly Lion’s Mask and a courage medal!

Description: Odette, under a magic spell, spends her days swimming in a lake of tears and her nights in the form of a human. This camp will consist of a daily ballet class where the students will act, dance and create beautiful swan crafts. The students will practice proper swan arms from the original choreography of Petipa/Ivanov with the help of professional ballerina Analay Saiz.

Elizabeth O'Neill Verner Award

Ballet Spartanburg has received the 2018 Elizabeth O'Neill Verner Award.
