Set in Paris, 1900, Le Cabaret Rouge is the story of an innocent young flower seller who lives in the town of Montmartre, Paris. With a chance meeting of a Parisian business owner, the flower seller’s life dramatically changes. Drawn to the exotic colors, music, and sensuality of the life in a cabaret, she finds that glamor and stardom fail her as she is exposed to realities and the darkness behind the cabaret’s curtain. Celebrate la joie de la vivre with Le Cabaret Rouge.

Ballet Spartanburg has received the 2018 Elizabeth O'Neill Verner Award.
