Dance Ensemble

The importance of our youth, dance and community service.

The Ballet Spartanburg Ensemble was established in June 2017 by Lona Gomez, Ballet Mistress, after careful reflection of the importance of connecting community, service and the art of dance together by young dancers at Ballet Spartanburg. The Ballet Spartanburg Ensemble is comprised of those students who are in the Advanced Ballet Ladies Division and Boys II Division. The ensemble will connect to the community through performance opportunities to reflect community investment by the Center for Dance Education. The students committed to the ensemble will hone their training and passion for dance through additional rehearsals and performances throughout the community. Performances will include classical and new works and will be performed at nursing homes, hospitals, assisted living facilities, speaking engagements, festivals, and school performances alongside Ballet Spartanburg professional Company dancers.

March 23rd & 24th | 8pm | Chapman Cultural Center
