SYLVIA WILSON has training in ballet genres of American, English, Russian and French. After beginning her training at the New England Ballet Conservatory in Vermont, she spent a year at the Ecole Supérieure du Ballet du Québec. She then moved to Europe where she studied at the Ballet School of the Paris Opera, and the Bolshoi Ballet Academy in Moscow. She completed her training with summer intensives at the National Ballet School of Canada, the English National Ballet School and the Accademia Teatro alla Scala in Milan. She participated in school performances at all of her training institutions and performed the leading role in the Michigan Classical Ballet’s performance of The Nutcracker. Sylvia is excited to join Ballet Spartanburg this season.
